Scone Race Club Careers

The Racecourse Gap Attendant (Trackwork) role at Scone Race Club is an early-morning, hands-on position responsible for supervising daily trackwork and ensuring the safety and compliance of all racing activities. Working typically from 5:00am to 11:00am, Tuesday to Saturday, the role involves conducting pre- and post-track inspections, identifying and addressing hazards, maintaining track surfaces using equipment, and responding to any incidents or injuries on site. It also includes general upkeep of the racecourse and facilities. Suitable candidates will be reliable, safety-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team, with a driver’s licence required and horse experience preferred but not essential.
