A dedicated and highly regarded horseman from the Hunter North West district, Stephen was known for his integrity, work ethic, and deep lifelong love for thoroughbreds.

Arrowfield Stud has been announced as the new Naming Rights Partner of the Scone Cup from 2026, with the $200,000 Listed feature to be run as the Arrowfield Scone Cup. The expanded partnership signals a powerful new phase for the two-day Scone Racing Carnival, taking place 15–16 May 2026 in the Horse Capital of Australia.

The Scone Race Club has announced the dates for the 2026 Scone Racing Carnival, with the iconic two-day event returning on 15–16 May as it celebrates its 80th year. The Carnival will again feature the Arrowfield Scone Cup and Group 3 Arrowfield Dark Jewel Classic.
