Scone Race Club’s landmark three-year partnership with Magic Millions is now officially underway, marking an exciting new chapter for the Club and the broader Upper Hunter thoroughbred community.

Following the announcement in January, Magic Millions has commenced its role as Exclusive Thoroughbred Auction House Partner of Scone Race Club, with the newly established Magic Millions Mounting Yard now in place at Scone Racecourse.

The partnership brings together two organisations deeply embedded in the fabric of Australia’s thoroughbred industry. Centred in the Upper Hunter Valley, widely recognised as the Horse Capital of Australia, Scone Race Club sits at the heart of a region renowned for producing elite racehorses that compete on the world stage. Magic Millions’ national and international footprint further strengthens this connection between breeding excellence and raceday performance.

Scone Race Club CEO Jason Hill said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to celebrating and supporting the industry that defines the region.

“Magic Millions plays a pivotal role in the Australian thoroughbred industry, and we are proud to see that relationship formally embedded at Scone,” Mr Hill said.

“This partnership reinforces Scone’s position as a premier country racing destination and highlights the strength of the Upper Hunter as a global centre for breeding and racing excellence.”

The collaboration is expected to enhance the profile of key race meetings, including the Scone Racing Carnival in May, which features the Darley Scone Cup and the Group 3 Arrowfield Dark Jewel Classic. The Carnival continues to attract leading trainers, owners and breeders from across the country, with strong industry backing playing a central role in its ongoing success.

Beyond raceday branding and visibility, the partnership represents a strategic alignment between two organisations committed to the long-term growth and integrity of Australian racing. It further underscores Scone Race Club’s ambition to continue evolving as a leading country racecourse with strong industry partnerships at its core.

As preparations continue for the 2026 racing calendar, Scone Race Club looks forward to working closely with Magic Millions to deliver outstanding experiences for participants, sponsors and racegoers alike.
